Blue Boar Self-Centering bits make it easy to start a hole with a hand held core drill or right angle drill. The carbide-tipped centering bit helps stabilize the core bit until it penetrates the surface being drilled.

After the core bit is sufficiently started, the starter bit is easily and quickly removed by loosening the set screw in the adapter. There are many uses for these kits, particularly for horizontal and corner drilling.

The rubber stabilizer squares keep the bit centered and prevent tip runout at high RPM's. Their square shape makes it easy to remove them by hand along with the centering bit. The Stabilizer Squares are available in a wide range of sizes to fit core bits 2" to 6" diameters.
