The cutting through many inches of wood was quick and with little difficulty. a really good tool. used a lot but stii as sharp as day I got it.

Drilled out 50, 3" holes below roof rafters for soffit ventilation on my home, face board was 2" plus thick, Blue Boar easily
cut through the face board with no effort on my part, it seem to drive through the board on its own, I was on a ladder on the second floor, so could not exert any pressure at all.
